Georgia Bradshaw will be playing Maid Marian in The Capitol Horsham’s pantomime Robin Hood, which opens Saturday 22nd November. Tickets for Robin Hood are currently on sale, and Georgia will be working closely with Mark Irwin (Robin Hood), Gina Murray (The Sheriff), Jack North (Little John) and Katie Pritchard (Friar Tuck), and the pantomime will run until Sunday 4th January 2026. Having previously played Kwaiden and understudied Zahara in the UK and international tours of Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical, Georgia has just finished another Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical UK Tour playing Zahara (which is out in cinemas until Sunday 2nd November), and for her portrayal of the character, she was nominated for Best Supporting Female Actor at the 2025 Black British Theatre Awards. In 2024, Georgia was in the UK premiere of A Night with Janis Joplin as Etta James, and in the West End production of Jamie Lloyd’s reimagined Sunset Boulevard, Georgia played Lisa. Amongst Georgia’s stage credits, she played Nautica in Bring It On in Peterborough and London when theatres could reopen after the coronavirus pandemic, was in the cast of 9 to 5 the Musical on tour, and early in her career, she played Kiki in the Korean Tour of Flashdance and made her West End debut in Dreamgirls at the Savoy Theatre. We talked to Georgia about her upcoming role of Maid Marian in Robin Hood at The Capitol Horsham, touring in Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical and her time in A Night with Janis Joplin and Sunset Boulevard.
How are you preparing for taking on the role of Maid Marian in this year’s pantomime of Robin Hood at The Capitol Horsham and what will you bring to the character?
I’ve been sent the script and songs and currently I’m just enjoying going through it – it’s very funny and I’m singing away when I get the chance. Hope to put a smash of my own personality on the character.
Was there anything that drew you to Maid Marian and have you seen Robin Hood as a pantomime previously?
I’ve never seen Robin Hood in pantomime and I’m really looking forward to seeing what our version turns out like.
What are you looking forward to for opening on 22nd November and working alongside the rest of the cast, which includes Mark Irwin as Robin Hood, Gina Murray as The Sheriff, Jack North as Little John and Katie Pritchard as Friar Tuck?
I had never met any of the other cast before the shoot but I have done a little bit of online stalking and Katie seems hilarious – can’t wait to see her Friar Tuck!
How was it reading the Robin Hood script for the first time and what do you think the show will be like to perform in?
My initial reaction was it’s so funny and I can’t wait to get it on its feet.
Why would you recommend booking tickets to see Robin Hood at The Capitol, which is running until 4th January 2026?
Because the cast look incredible, it’s a must to book a pantomime over Christmas for the ultimate happy injection and come hear some incredible singing and see a fab production.

You have just finished touring as Zahara in the 2025 UK Tour of Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical, how was it returning to the musical having covered the role and played Kwaiden on the UK and international tours previously?
I love Bat Out Of Hell so much, it’s been an incredible experience both the first and the second time. Was great to get my teeth into the new role and loved every moment. I got so many amazing first experiences with live TV and live radio with my role, so I’m super grateful.
What was Zahara like to play and how did you feel being nominated for Best Supporting Female Actor at the 2025 Black British Theatre Awards?
Being nominated is such an honour in a world where there are so many incredible performers so to be nominated blew my mind a bit.
How was it performing the Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf music and do you have any favourite highlights from touring with the show over the years that you can share?
Touring in Australia will always be a career highlight. Singing songs that challenge my style was major and closing Big Night of Musicals on primetime TV live with a giant bell and that many fire canons is something I will never forget.
Can you tell us about being part of the UK premiere of A Night With Janis Joplin at The Peacock Theatre in 2024 and what was the production like to work on as a Joplinaire?
This production was my first production that went to the cinemas so it gave me my first experience of watching myself in the cinemas that I will always be grateful for. I loved being Etta James in this production – she’s a crazy powerhouse.
How did you find the experience playing Lisa in Jamie Lloyd’s reimagining of Sunset Boulevard in the West End?
Incredible, I have worked on a few productions from scratch and this, I imagine, will be one for the memory bank. The way Jamie works is like no one I’ve ever worked with.

How was it performing in Bring It On as Nautica in Peterborough and London when theatres could reopen after they were closed (and the original Bring It On run was postponed) due to the coronavirus pandemic?
The great thing was that I knew I had a job to go to once the pandemic was over. Even better, it was a great experience and pulled on so many skills I had built in my earlier life like cheerleading.
What did you enjoy most about touring with 9 to 5 the Musical as Ensemble?
I did this job with one of my best friends so touring with your best friend always has it perks.
Early in your career, you toured Korea as Kiki in Flashdance and made your West End debut in Dreamgirls at the Savoy Theatre, what are some of your stand-out memories from these projects?
Kiki was my first major role in a big musical and I absolutely loved performing that score – it’s so full of energy and passion. Touring Korea was an incredible experience too; the audiences were so enthusiastic and it really taught me a lot about performing night after night.
Dreamgirls will always have a special place in my heart. It was my first West End job and it felt every bit as glamorous and larger-than-life as I’d imagined – the costumes, the music, the whole atmosphere. It truly was a dream come true and an experience I’ll never forget.
Do you have any favourite theatre shows to watch, and which would you like to see that you haven’t done so as yet?
Would love to see Stranger Things and I’m excited to go and see The Greatest Showman in Bristol when it opens.
How do you like to spend your free time?
My family and friends are the most important thing in my calendar so anything that I can do with them.
