With her latest single Somewhere released with B-Sides by Brat TV and reaching 100k streams, Evie Theodorou is continuing writing new music and has recorded her debut EP. Evie has filmed for upcoming web series Nancy Mindy as the lead character and often uploads videos to her popular TikTok account @evie_t04 as well as music covers to her self-titled YouTube channel. Talking with Evie, we found out about her latest single Somewhere, modelling work and her TikTok.

When did you start your TikTok account and what led you to begin one?

I started my TikTok account in October 2019. I had never really thought much about it and then I would get DMs continuously asking me to make one. Now I love it!!!

What’s it like interacting with your many social media followers?

I love my fans. I honestly feel like it’s a huge group of friends!

How did it feel releasing your latest single Somewhere with B-Sides by Brat TV?

Singing is something I’m very passionate about. I’m thankful that BRAT gave me the opportunity to showcase a song with them. I can’t wait to show you what’s next!

Can you describe how you felt when Somewhere reached 100k streams?

I literally took a huge breath and smiled. I’m so very thankful!!!

You’ve recorded your debut EP, can you tell us more about this?

I have a great EP and it was a lot of fun recording as it was my first one. I am currently writing more and hopefully will have more songs out soon!

For those that haven’t heard your music how would you describe it and do you have a favourite music artist to listen to?

I feel like my voice is in the genre of Pop. I have so many artists that I listen to daily and inspire me. A few would be Kacey Musgraves, Halsey, Dua Lipa, Lennon Stella and Demi Lovato.

We understand you play musical instruments, what do you play and when did you start learning them?

I have been playing guitar steady for about a year. I also play the ukulele and piano.

You’re cast to play the lead character in Nancy Mindy, what can you say about this?

Nancy Mindy is a great character. She is witty and smart and fun! I hope to see it air soon on YouTube.

Can you tell us about some of your recent modelling work?

I recently modelled a clothing, shoe and handbag line for a climbing company called SoILL. They partnered with Jason Momoa on this amazing line called On The Roam. Everyone should check them out!

What do you enjoy about working on commercials?

Everything! I love watching the behind the scenes, watching and learning from other actors and then, of course, doing my part. Commercials are super fun!

Is there anything you enjoy most about your career?

Well, I love everything I do, what is so fun is being able to share my talents with others.

What upcoming music plans do you have?

I am always writing. Lots coming soon! I promise it’s going to be good! 😀
